What we send

California Camp Watcher sends SMS text alerts to people who ask to be notified when a specific California state-park campsite becomes available or is scheduled to be released. We only send the alerts you set up. There is no marketing.

How you opt in

You opt in from inside your own California Camp Watcher account. After signing in, you create a “scan” for the campground(s) and dates you want, enter your mobile number in the optional Text alerts to field shown below, and separately check the SMS consent box. The checkbox is optional and unchecked by default. Saving the draft records your choice; activating the watch after checking the box opts that number in to alerts for the selected watch.
